Prashanth Kishor Thanks Delhi for protecting India's soul as AAP leads forward
As Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took a lead in the trends from Delhi election results counting, political strategist Prashant Kishor who devised the party's campaign, has thanked the voters of Delhi.
In a tweet on Tuesday afternoon, Prashant Kishor, who was recently ousted from Nitish Kumar's JDU, said, "Thank you Delhi for standing up to protect the soul of India".
AAP looked all set for a clean sweep in the Delhi assembly elections to form the government for a third term. AAP has gained leads in over 50 seats, much more than the required 35 to form the government in 70-member Delhi assembly.
BJP has also gained significantly compared to the 2015 Delhi elections, however, it is still nowhere close to the majority mark.
