Maharashtra Governor Koshyari may skip Delhi governor conference as alliance to form government

According to the sources Bhagat Singh Koshyari is about to skip conference of governors beginning Saturday in Delhi and remain in Mumbai as a prospective governing alliance of three parties takes shape.

Maharashtra is currently under President's Rule, which was enforced after the Shiv Sena and the BJP -- joint winners in last month's state election -- fell out bitterly, leading to a prolonged delay in government formation.

But now, a formal announcement of an alliance between the Sena, the Nationalist Congress Party and the Congress looks imminent.
