Acche beete 5 saal,Lage raho Kejriwal : New slogan for Aam Admi Party
The Aam Aadmi Party's message to voters ahead of next year's assembly election is simple and straightforward: five good years have gone by, it says, and so Delhi should help its Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal, keep going.
Of course, it sounds catchier in Hindi: "Achhe Beete Paanch Saal, Lage Raho Kejriwal."
The AAP, which was born out of an anti-corruption movement led by Anna Hazare, swept to power the 2015 election, winning 67 out of 70 seats.
But it suffered a reverse in local body polls held in 2017; it was the BJP who came out on top.
Next year's contest is expected to be a tough test for Kejriwal and the AAP, who've teamed up with the political advocacy group Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), the brainchild of election strategist Prashant Kishor.
The I-PAC has has worked on a number of successful campaigns, including the one that brought the BJP to power at the Centre in 2014.
